The Church ran the Scouts and Cubs, Girl Guides and later the Boys Club, all of which presumably met in the Church Hall. People&#8217;s recollections agree that, in order to attend the church youth club, young people would have to be members of the congregation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There was also a Girls&#8217; Friendly Society, organised by the wife of Canon Val Green. The Church Hall was demolished in 1966 due to it being unsafe.
