To begin with we’re creating the Heritage Trail Website structure. The trail is actually four different trails, so the structure of the site reflects this. When we’re done there should be 33 pages all findable from the menu at the top. Also each page has its own QR code. When you’re walking around our village there will be signs at key points and you can scan the codes with your phone, which will take you to the page on this website with a description of what used to be there, together with photographs and people’s reminiscences about the place. It’s a project that’s involving the whole community here. Apart from the sign printing, everything, this website, the text, is all put together by people who live right here in Burnhope.
