Today I uploaded pictures and text to all of the separate pages which the plaques will link to. It’s incredible looking at pictures of the village and thinking of the amount of different shops and clubs used to be here. And what life must have been like for the people who lived here. The one photo of the brickworkers really conveys the struggles they must have gone through. And only 130 years ago.
Anyway, there’s still the webpages about the trails for me to add the links to (only the school one is finished) and the content needs to be checked before the website launch. It’s usual to hide all of the content away before it’s ready, but we’ve decided to share it while we’re working on it, so that it’s easy for people to check it along the way. So if you want to take a sneak peek before the launch, and you spot something wrong please drop a note in the comments below.
